The mobile site can be enabled by tapping the bar at the top of the page which should appear on smartphones.

To exit the mobile site, click the 3 bar menu in the top left of the mobile site and tap "Desktop Site"

just used this [on me desktop] and it works very well...i cant see why this couldnt be used as a new desktop format..

although small on the desktop , even the avatars show ....

It is a mobile optimised site so no fancy-pants headers etc. It's designed to be quick and easy to use on a mobile

cant get the mobile site to work on my ipad...works on the pc though... ... - .- -.

The bar offering the mobile site isn't shown for iPads as the mobile site is optimised for phones, not tablets.
