Overfinch side sep / running board options…

So I need to get some side steps my my 2012 L322, as the Mrs and kids are fed up of “hoiking” themselves into the car… even when in access mode.
I have been on the lookout for some deployable side steps / running boards for a while but the cost and availability are prohibitive.

So… I need to get some fixed ones, but what ones? I don’t want to ruin the look of the Overfinch styling.

If I get side steps, then I assume I need new side skirts too? (not a big issue as I’ve cracked mine anyway)

Or can I get some like are fitted to this as they look to be ‘snug’ to the body? https://leistungauto.co.uk/product/land-ro...-tdv8-a-2/
If I go for this style, then what ones are they and where do I get them from? Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Past rides:
2014 Audi Q7 3.0d (good riddance)

Something like these (at only £200) perhaps?

My deployable steps house themselves into the side skirts when retracted so everything is all flush. Looks ace

I too ffrr lover would love some side steps but I don't want to lose the overfinch side skirts. But I don't want to go down the costly route and have the electric ones fitted if you can still get them of course. So I'm just gonna keep it as it is.

I agree with you BarmyBrummie, it’s a look I want to keep… but this is a battle I’ll have to concede unfortunately. At least with a black car, and black steps they don’t stand out quite as much!

My thinking is to swap to suitable side steps (and just accept the look) and keep an eye out for a deployable set. I’m sure the temporary ones could then be resold.

@G3BML, I agree they do look ace and if I can find a set, and at the right price, then I’d snap them up!!! Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8
