Hi all, had a slight hunting at low rpm whilst driving through local town at idle speeds. No codes and it went as soon as I accelerated… being slightly paranoid and especially at the moment with the cold temps meaning I get the 4 degrees C bing that makes me jump every time and reach for the Gap IID before I realise I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced similar and if there is anything to be checking…

Car was warm at the time and I had just stopped at the co op to grab some milk. So it happened as I restarted and drove off. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

Could be an egr sticking partially open. You can check via live values using the Gap iid. Paul,

Mine (4.4 TDV8) has also started hunting a bit at idle (barely perceptible on the dash but audible from in or outside the car).

Seems to only do it when warm and stationary. Aside from aforementioned EGR, is there any common fault that can cause this?
