^ I stopped using pouches a couple of years ago for precisely that reason. I don't know why, but all of the three different pouches I had brought over the years had failed.

I now use a box instead.

I also use a Stoplock Pro Elite on the steering wheel, which whilst probably not as good, I find easy and quicker than a DiskLock to use.

However, the approach of such chainmail Faraday cage over the entire vehicle has its drawbacks, such as possible paintwork damage and need for 30Te crane for removal of same…. Whistle “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
