how to turn off/disable 'traffic news'. 2012 l322, please.

guys... I have the 2012 L322 Westminster, (with logic 7 if its relevant). I can't switch off 'interrupting traffic news', from all sources. (ie, the local radio channel interrupts a cd/iPod etc, with traffic news, which I can then override by hitting A/V button)
If I go into each source, and go, 'settings' and try and 'clear all' announcements... it still interrupts, and if I select one/some/ all options, 'enable' and then 'clear' them, it still interrupts every 15 mins or so, with local traffic news. other (lesser!) cars, just have a TA button...(on/off) I can't find that... unless i'm not 'seeing it'.
am I going mad.... is it mandatory to have traffic news on all the time?
when you're cruising with Classic FM, and the 'good bit' comes... it cuts in, often booming loud too! because I've got the music up loud! -drives me mad!

Just been out to the car (2012) to check....

The 'Info' button under the volume control toggles the T/A On/Off.

You're welcome! Wink The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

According to this, it’s not in any setting option, it’s the INFO button under the volume knob….

You could always do what I do?
After disconnecting the battery for the umpteenth time, just give up tuning the radio in anymore. I have lots of static stations “tuned” in so no chance if this happening to me Laughing Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

You need to go into the RDS section of the FM tuner to disable it as it's an FM broadcast that cuts into other sources. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
