Steering wheel switches lighting

Hi guy's.
Kevin here from over on the dark side Rangerover sport.
Have a little problem I thought maybe someone might have had the same or someone just may know how to solve!

The light on my steering wheel switches have stopped working for some reason. Maybe I have turned something off by mistake or pressed a switch somewhere accidentally.

Has anyone with a newer ff had this problem, I assume that the full fat has the same sort of switches to my sport around the same year hence my asking.
Mine is a 2016 Rangerover sport 4.4 A/B if anyone can offer any help.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi Kevin,

Is this as simple as you’ve turned the dimmer switch down?

Regards

John

@ John.

No John, tried that. My mechanic says no way to turn the brightness down on the steering wheel. He coming to have a look fix Sunday. He seems to think its the connector behind airbag Known fault.
Will update when resolved.

Well, Guys.

It seems just my lack of knowledge with the car Again!
My mechanic came up today had a quick look. Nowt wrong.
It seems the steering wheel light on the switches only work when the lights are switched on or in auto lights on!!
Don't work when lights are turned OFF.

"No fool like an old fool" what!!!!
