Big congrats Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Had mine for about a year now and in my opinion wouldn't be without one now.

Have you turned off the Keyless or do you use a Faraday pouch??

Yes keyless was switched off the day I took ownership 11 months ago.
I was humming and rrring, Then the recent keyless survey really made my mind up.

I use a faraday pouch at home but thats just habit, I guess with wide band technology and with keyless off and watching the car double locks away from home, covers all eventualities.

The installer did say that the Ghost 2 originates from Russia and with sanctions, maybe it will become harder to obtain.
So all of you waiting to pull the trigger, now is the time Whistle 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Hi, sorry for the thread hijack, i just picked up my Range Rover yesterday and have been thinking about a tracker. Bought it from Land Rover and they said it already has a tracker fitted (cat 5+ from tracker.co.uk) just need a subscription. Other option is automatrics. Then i came across Ghost/Ghost 2. Are these devices better than the other 2?

The Ghost II completely stops the vehicle being driven away from the last place you left it. Even if they get it, you need a code to start it.
Trackers are OK for recovering the vehicle, but say for instance your car is stolen at 1am and you report it at 7am when you've got up and realised it has gone, that's a window of six hours for them to drive it away, possibly find the Tracker or strip the car down for parts. Big Cry Big Cry

My personal opinion would be a Ghost II at £450 and a Faraday pouch at £12 Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
