United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue
[found] WANTED 2002 to 2006 Range Rover - TD6 or V8. FOUND.

Hello all

As some of you may know, I have been on and off the forum for the past few years trying to find my ideal fattie. Well it didn't happen. I couldn't afford to buy a top end L322 and didn't want to risk running an L322 or L405 on a low budget after spending all my money buying it.

I am now happily in a position where I won't be using a fattie as my daily driver and therefore looking to take on an older model. Ideally I'm after a 2002 - 2006 TD6 or V8 (petrol or diesel). Mileage is NOT an issue but condition is. The budget is up to £5000 and the closer to Hampshire the better.

I don't mind one with a few issues, but preferably no "spares or repairs" projects. Running and driving with minimal rust and not that many fault codes would be grand. Happy to turn my hand to jobs that can all be done with simple tools on the driveway.

What's out there? Hopefully this time something might actually end up in my garage! Dark blue and green are number one colour choices and no rear seat entertainment either please but this isn't a deal breaker.

Cheers
Ben Current vehicles:

1982 Land Rover Series 3 88" petrol

This one. I almost bought it myself, and is a good one. Dont worry about the miles, Kezbo has looked after this and I wouldnt envisage any issues.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zambezi Silver

Hi mate,

If you haven't found one in the next few months, send me a DM. My project is in my link below.

I might sell my 05 plate, 2006 MY 4.2 SC with 162k miles.. once i've had a play with it and sorted it all out.

Apart from the rust (which will all be sorted, properly) , it is in great condition and running great. I won't sell until I have it tip-top.. which will basically be a full underside restoration really.

If I am honest, I am a little underwhelmed by the car... possibly due to having pent up excitement of owning it about 6 months prior to driving it on road. With that in mind, I can't justify it as a 4th car.

While I may end up keeping it longer term, I can see myself getting it into great nick and moving it on.. (07) 2007 3.6 TDV8 L322 - 135k miles.
(05) 2006 MY Supercharged L322 - Zambezi Silver on Jet Black - 162k miles.

** Smiles per gallon - never forget **
