Hello everyone,

As per the title I am looking to purchase a set of rubber floor mats and a boot liner.
I have taken a look at the OEM ones, but IMHO they don't appear to be of the best design, i.e. the drivers side mat is short just as the "fabric" one I have right now, also the boot liner doesn't cover that little space to the right of the boot that we have in the L405's.

I tried my best to search the forum for similar posts but haven't found the info I was after (however there are people on this forum that say britpart goods are of good quality).
Any advice on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Mine has the LR accessory mats and semi rigid boot liner.

The mat in the driver footwell does not cover the whole footwell (my guess is that this is a safety related design issue as some people got into trouble when mats bunched up under pedals) and wore through relatively quickly (three years) compared with the 322 mats, which were (a) more robust and (b) could be placed on top of the carpet mats so were cushioned from below against the scouring pressure of the heel going to and from the brake pedal. I mended mine with 'Aquasure' wader repair glue which has worked well. All the other mats are in perfect order with very little wear, partly because they can be laid on top of the standard carpet mats, but mainly because they don't have the same scouring wear. It is a pity that LR don't sell driver footwell mats separately. So while the LR mats are OK, there is room for improvement. I've not tried other ones. While dirt does accumulate behind the driver footwell mat, it does not get trodden in to the carpet and so can be vacuumed or brushed out relatively easily.

The boot liner has been fine. It does not cover the space at the side as you have identified, but because the liner has a decent lip on it that has not been a problem. I keep the detachable towbar and associated stuff in the space and the lip is quite useful in keeping it in the space, though the towbar itself is also tied to the nearby lashing eye to stop it moving in case of impact. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I opted for the genuine ones in the end. They fit well and look good. On £100k car i didnt want to detract from the overall feel by fitting mats that were not quite as good a fit or ones that made the car stink of new rubber for months to come.

With regard to the boot liner I went for the Rangerover OEM liner. We have dogs and golf gear to ship around so needed something that protected all the vertical surfaces too. It was also the only one that allowed for the ventilation inlets for the rear aircon. Looks good and fits perfectly....but much more expensive. 2015 Range Rover L405 SDV8 AB Corris grey

Wonder if they make RHD versions.

From what I can tell, Weathertech have the highest lips around the edge which is good for catching melting snow. Not perfect but the best I could find.
