What about eastern Europeans with their jet washes? This would be better if you haven't the time.

I used the local Tesco car wash extensively for my D4 once it had past its best, I then moved to the local Polish gang until my rear light cluster lens fell off and I discovered they were using a vario dirt blaster nozzle on their jet wash the other rear lights were all suffering cracking inside due to the shock too. MY23 PHEV HSE
