Hi everyone,

First post, and first RR (L322).

If I turn the heating down to the lowest- all fine- very cold.

However, next notch up- 18 degrees or so, and it suddenly gets very hot indeed.

I saw somewhere to make sure the vent/sensor thing was clear of dust. I'll try that.

Is there a more elementary problem here? Sensor/thermostat?

A real nuisance this is... to get a comfortable cabin temperature I have to turn it all the way down for 20 secs or so, then up to 17/18 and it'll get hot again, so back down to bottom 30 secs later again. A somewhat tiresome routine!

I have this same feature with mine. Not sure if it is stuck duo valves. Heat turns cold when both temp knobs are full cold. Electric water pump stops then so it could be pushing coolant through swollen gaskets in duo valve or something like that. Duo valve is not easily accessed in tdv8 so I have kept turning knobs. 😁 -08 3.6 Vogue
