Thinking about selling, any ideas of price?

Evening guys, I'm thinking about selling my 2012 L322 Vogue with under 53k miles on it and wanted to get a feel on price for a private sale.

Let me explain where I'm at and why I'm where I'm at.
I bought my L322 as a compromise to replace 2 cars; my 2006 Mercedes GL420 (which replaced a Porsche CTTS) and 2012 Renault Coupe.

This was a mistake! I sacrificed the wafty (albeit unstable) GL for a a better handling, smaller RR, but lost any driving with 'verve and enthusiasm' ability. I manned up and made the best of it Wink, but then SWMBO's L322 love has waned and also wants to get driving again

Long story short, I intend to go back to a 2 car garage, a run around that SWMBO and the dog can use around and get another high performance vehicle either a BMW760, or a Bentley CFS Speed.

As for the L322 itself, I bought it from Evans Halshaw and owned it for about 6 months. After WH sorted the initial teething troubles caused by a few years of minimal use (new windscreen due to heated element, new grill due to peeling laquer, one or more height sensors, battery, starter and intake plenum from what I can recall), its now my daily driver.

I'm in no real rush, but I'd really appreciate any pricing help, so I can pop it up for sale when/if I make a decision.

I’m going to stick my neck out & dependant on history & condition I would say minimum £18k & possibly as much as £20k but at £20k you’re hitting budget L405 territory. Insanely low mileage will be the big selling point.
Have a look on The Vogue Centre op north somewhere, that’ll give you an indication of dealer retail prices.
Hope this helps. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Hi,

I keep looking for a FFRR (think it will be a 3.6) and use L/R's p/ex valuer as a start/guide price as it uses the CAP system
you can also look at WBAC and evans halshaw own site as mileage seems to affect the value more than I thought Exclamation

yours gets £16136 on L/R as a p/ex value so work from that,

we did sell to WBAC a year ago as their price was £££ above dealers value and more than we had the car advertised for pvt Shocked it was an easy sale as well so we won Thumbs Up

Based on current prices I reckon £20k for a private sale if the condition reflects the low miles ( i.e mint with FSH) 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

What the others say about price seems right. Never go with a WBAC price though without checking out others like Motorway, Cazoo or Carwow. I've found WBAC to almost always offer significantly lower than many others. L405 4.4 AB Loire Blue

"I bought it from Evans Halshaw and owned it for about 6 months" - I suspect you will be taking quite a hit by selling it. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Cheers chaps, yeah I sold my Porsche via WBAC any took a hammering, so that's not happening nor does it need to.

I actually think I'd potentially consider a L405 LWB supercharged as well, as I now think that in my mind at least, that would be more 2nd car worthy and be a better drive. Perhaps that a better car, instead of a better RR is where I've ended up Shocked

I'll keep the L322 until autumn/winter at least, as I've read that chips shortages are due to end in 2023, although that said there are all manner of issues from the pandemic, earthquakes, fires and contamination affecting supplies. I work for an electrical components wholesaler and lead times are crazy and not showing any signs of letting up yet! Encourage alternative fuels, use all the petrol!
