Fixed side step removal

My near side had snapped in the middle , corroded beyond help with the rubber top holding it together . Bought a set from lr parts , really can’t justify main dealer prices tbh.
Today’s the day , had been spraying release oil in for a while , first bolt, snap , 2nd same , 3rd same then the fourth wouldn’t budge , ended up rounding the damn thing . So with the front loose, that back clinging on with 1 cack bolt , out with the club hammer . The mount was obviously not that great either , one tap and it sheared quite easily . Was planning on using the existing mounts but that idea quickly changed . Looks like I’ll book into local garage to get it finished , remaining bolts into chassis don’t look very clever either , so I’ll give someone else the grief . Best laid plans eh Shocked Big Cry

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Had a similar issue with my 2011 car. Had a quick go myself then asked garage to fit… ended up costing over £200 for fitting due to the time it took them to get the old bolts out….. hopefully they can get the old bolts out and you can get your new ones on.
