2011 - Power/Lighter Sockets Live with Ignition Off?

Can anyone tell me if any of the lighter/power sockets in an MY11.5 L322 remain live when the ignition is off?

Don't have the car in front of me and am wondering if I can use a solar trickle charger.

i think theres something in the wiki about taking a relay out to make a socket live, might help .. ... - .- -.

just read the owners manual and it says the boot socket is permanant live. Confused

worth checking if poss... ... - .- -.

Mine goes to sleep when the car does Stan.... Confirmed last night. Craig is correct..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I know this is an old thread but I found it when searching - can confirm my cigarette lighter socket in the boot shuts itself down when the car's locked too.

All the sockets in the late L322 are BCM controlled - as soon as the BCM goes to sleep, they cut off.

They'll operate for 5 mins or so after unlocking or getting out of the car then switch off after that, along with everything else. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

A link with 2 spade terminals can replace the appropriate relay to keep sockets powered all the time.

yup mine goes to sleep when the car does.
we use it all the time to plug a cool box into it, i forgot to unplug it and when remembered thought i would return to a flat battery but no it had switched it self off Thumbs Up 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current
