£600 Road Tax for 2007 L322?

Hey All,

this may seem like a stupid question but is the Car Tax for the 2007 TDV8 really £600 per year? It feels astronomical for a diesel of such an age even if it is a V8. Its not an error of some kind on my reminder? Laughing

The £350 over the pre 2006 rates is the equivalent of less than three tanks of fuel over the course of the whole year....is what I tell myself anyway

Was running on fumes today, took 93L or 20.4 gallons, to brim. Jings. Proceeding 200 mile run up the A9 and back. Tried to keep cruise at 1450rpm, +-50mph Twisted Evil saw best average of 40.5 mpg on the way back, with good use of a heavy giving tow. 210 miles from just over a quarter of a tank range showing potential 500+ mile range remaining. Probably 35mpg actual. 700+ mile tank range, with luck. Can't ask much more from the truck really. #Econowagen.

My VED is in the post. Thumbs Up
