This is just so much cheaper to buy than the competition. I've never used their oils but have heard the name. Am I missing something obvious?

I've used their oil in several car engines, and several car gearboxes including my 4.2 Supercharged over the years without any problems Smile

I'd not hesitate to use them again. If you phone them and speak to them the knowledge and support is superb too.

I'd agree with David, I've used them a few times. All their products conform to the necessary specs at much less than the LR cost. Christian.

Thank you all. Thumbs Up

I have also subsequently found some post from KN Watkins singing the praises of Smith & Allan.

It just seemed to good (cheap) to be true. Shocked

Lets hope the pricing is accurate - the home page still has the Christmas closing times plus lock down arrangements from 15 months ago. - poor show that.

That said you can't moan at the pricing. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

been using their oil for a couple of years. on everything. i like to see the spec of the oil, more than the brand name. -which people seem to think is more important... ie a brand that is on stickers and hoardings at racetracks..... and pay through the nose to support those adverts... and i like to buy in a quantity thats decent value too. whereas shops sell it in standard 4 or 5 litre pots. great delivery service too.

Yes, been using them for years. My L405 is currently running S&A fluids in the engine, both diffs, transfer box and dynamic response hydraulic system Kev
