putting a cat S 405 back on the road - interesting videos

This guy seems to rebuild loads of stuff including now a 405 which has ended up on its side in a ditch.

He is a bit excitable but interesting nonetheless. The work also includes upgrading front and rear from 2015 to 2018 and the (becoming obligatory?) AC panel upgrade.

I await part 8 which should be the finished product.

i watch this channel , hes done some interesting stuff for an novice in car repairing , i noted that the 405 carried on from the 322 for being overly complicated to strip down

Seems a few of us watch Mat. The infotainment update and the steering wheel controls look like good updates to the interior. Sod paying £3500 for new front lights mind you. I'm waiting for his Aston Martin update.

I've only recently come across Mat's channel and am quite impressed by the work he's doing for someone self taught.

I enjoy doing the mechanical stuff that I've learned from watching my Dad (who was a doctor and learned from watching his Dad and taught himself the rest) and taught myself the rest but the bodywork he's doing is amazing! 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Its interesting watching for sure... The £3500 is for Chinese lights 2018 style with 2015 plugs. So plug & play...

The steering wheel controls are also Chinese as they are the only ones that work plug & play BUT, you do lose the ability to use haptic gestures to increase/decrease the volume...
