Weird tuning issue

I have a 4.2 sc Range Rover I’m having issues with

It’s a king Ecu with larger hana injectors a four hole tank and twin vapourisers so loads of pressure.

Recently changed maf, 8plugs and coils and 4 o2 sensors

Anyway I’m going nuts I can’t work out what’s going on at around 2700 I am getting a lean fault logged on bank 2

Looking at the cars stored long term trim data there are times where one banks rich and one is lean but at different load levels they are both lean?

So 2700 rpmish medium load b1 is -7.2 but b2 is 2.7? Idle to light load 3.5-7.2 with bank 2 alway 1 above bank 1… but at high load it’s bank 1 12.9 bank 2 5.2.

As you can’t tune each bank for each rev range where do I start with this?

I should say its trims are writhing -5 +5 on petrol maybe even tighter than that so on petrol we are all good? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Try runnning the bank thats going lean on petrol only in the king software, if that solves it, you know its an lpg issue .
You can then drop down from 4 on petrol to, 3, 2, then 1 to determine which injector is off.

Also in the king sofware you can bias to whichever bank is giving issues, I'm on my phone so can't check which page its on but there is that facility in the software to tweak it to run a tad rich or lean to one bank (you probably know this already)

Is it bringing on cel or just pending code?

Do you think it sounds like a dodgy injector even though it goes lean and rich on that bank?

I’m on the latest (3yesr old?) firmware and it doesn’t allow you to leave an injector off unless you are in the diagnostic screen annoyingly.

On my other car we left one off for a while while we got to the bottom of it Current stable:

My money is on the o2 sensor... had a few dodgy new ones over the years, apparently a lot of fakes out there even if you did buy a branded one...!! Pete

If you're struggling to get it spot on, there's a guy in Yorkshire called Simon at LPGC who knows his way around LPG conversions like nobody I've ever known.

I spent hours trying to get my P38 to run properly on multipoint before and never had any luck getting it to run properly. It would switch and idle but not nicely and was undriveable. Simon then had it running and idling properly on LPG within 30 minutes after diagnosing it as the ECU being faulty.

I then drove the car for just over an hour whilst Simon sat in the passengers seat mapping it properly as I was driving. He had a scanner plugged into the OBD port on the car monitoring values from the car and was monitoring and tweaking the map on LPG as I was driving.

I never once had another problem with that car on LPG in the 4.5 years I kept it. I towed heavy loads (probably more then I should've done) and it never once coughed or spluttered even at wide open throttle and never changed back to petrol either.

Having just paid 197.9 for Esso Synergy Supreme + at the weekend I was nearly kicking myself for removing the LPG from my SC but I'm really not going to miss it.

I'm running a V6 Lexus engine on LPG at the moment and it kept popping up a lean bank one code, it's running spot on, trims are excellent and the same as petrol but it still put the light on every now and again.... never did it on petrol...

Changed the O2 sensor and it's been fine since...!!

Weird, and maybe not your problem but worth a look if you run out of other things... Pete
