Where's this oil from? 4.4 TDV8

Had my MOT today (all passed) but the inspector put an advisory of oil leak on the ticket. I got him to show me where he thought it was, and it's the bell housing covered with dirty old oil.

My mind immediately jumps to think that's it's nothing to worry about and is left over from the oil cooler (was done about 3 years ago iirc), as this is naturally where it would make its way to (and checking the forum, seems normal). The car doesn't drop any oil and there is no oil on the sub frame below it so, that says to me there is not currently a leak present, re-enforcing my view.

Any other thoughts or think it's time to schedule a decreasing clean next time I'm underneath? 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Only way you will know for sure is to clean it all off, then check again after a period of time.

The oil cooler, as you say, leaks it down there, but I think the 2 pipes that need the O rings can a bit too.

Don’t know of any other common oil leak points.

Degrease and clean it off thoroughly (remove under tray to do it properly).
Monitor.
Were the 2 O rings done too from turbo pipe? Personally I'd whip off the pollen box and have a look in the V from top to be 100% sure. As you know, loads of posts and info on here so not going to repeat. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
