Car lowering overtime when parked (all 4 corners)

The car has never dropped since I had it, even after a month of non use.

But this last week it seems to drop after a few days, bit by bit.

I ask for help as its doing it evenly on all 4 corners, not just one end or side or corner? I have read about when one end or 1 corner drops, but am not familiar with it dropping evenly on all 4 corners. It takes a week to drop fully.

The drive is not totally level, its drops a little to one side, but as I say it never used to drop all.

Thanks all

You have a leak.

The car wakes itself up every few hours and if one corner has lowered it lowers the other three to maintain a level.

Found the section in the manual:

Periodic Re-levelling
When the vehicle is parked, the air suspension control module 'wakes up' two hours after the ignition was last switched off
and then once every twenty four hours. The vehicle height is checked and if the vehicle is not level within a pre-set tolerance,
small downwards height adjustments may be made automatically. Christian.

If you disconnect the battery once parked the car cannot wake up to check suspension levels, leaving the corner with the leak to drop on its own. Easiest way is to measure from the centre of each wheel to the body and write the measurements down then disconnect the battery and re measure the next day, you may see some change in them all due to temperature but the leaking one should go down furthest.
Failing that you could have a leaking pipe or valve block.

Thanks. Amy issues with leaving the battery disconnected for a long period of time? I know about turning the steering wheel when starting.

Thought I would give an update.

Disconnected the battery and left for 2 days and the measurements didn't change at all.

So I reconnected the battery, and moved the car onto the patio which is level (wife loved that Laughing ) and left it there until today (3 1/2 days) and no movement again! i am beginning to think the very lumpy gravel drive meant it was detecting different levels and then it was adjusting.

But I am not using it again for a week, so lets just see Shocked

Some times when a small hole develops it can get sealed where the airbag folds back on itself, when driving it will leak and the compressor will keep it inflated, park it and the hole is sealed...

Try it tonight at off road height, this exposes more of the bag, and see what happens...

If you do have a small leak it can overwork the compressor and wear that out so best to get to the bottom of it... Thumbs Up Pete

We've also had quite high daytime temperatures - the vehicle will only ever correct it's height downwards, as temperatures drop overnight, so will the vehicle. That will be the new reference height it will level against.

My L319, not used in 10 days - sat on it's haunches, L322, used twice daily, no noticeable difference, maybe a bit lower in the mornings, but that's what i'd expect so not really out of the ordinary enough to trigger a thought....

The L319 had also been sat through the early part of the month with much lower daytime temperatures and less of an overnight drop in temperature, I didn't really notice much of a height change in the week it hadn't been used.

Never had any of mine drop or look wonky no matter how hot or cold and how bad the surface it was parked on, yes they will level to some extent but never drop unless they have faults......

Land Rover did not build cars that behaved like that.

If yours does then I humbly suggest you have issues... Pete

Did you leave it on full height with the battery disconnected? That will stretch the bags and any rubber that’s usually curled under and hidden will be visible.

That’s how I found a slow leak on the back of mine last year.
