Autobiography 4.4 L405 occasional hesitation

4.4 Diesel engine sometimes briefly hesitant of a morning. Seems like fuel starvation and so I’ve ordered a new fuel filter. Any other causes why it does this would be very much appreciated.

its when I drive it, normally from cold. it idles and runs fine most of the time and only hesitates momentarily for a few seconds after a few minutes of driving.

As I’m starting my car it occasionally sounds and feels as though it were someone shivering (sorry strange way of describing it but can’t think of a better way). It never fails to start though. 2016 SDV8 AB
