Fart

Sometimes when I get out of my car it emits a strange noise from the back. I realise that cars dont fart but that is what it sounds like - something else for me to worry about.? Geoff

I'd be more worried when the farting stops and the oozing starts, there's no way back from that. Fuji White 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westmiinster

Conincidentally, when I locked up tonight, my car also did a fart! Clearly needed a relax after travelling 250 miles, laden trailer in tow.

In all seriousness, it came from the fuel filler breather (i was stood right beside it as it went off, so this is definite). I suspect as the pump turns off, there's a glug of air, a bit like when running a garden or pond pump. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
