Door fixing L405

No quite sure that this is in the right place but here goes. The internal passenger door panel on my L405 isn't fixed securely - its not the pop fastenings but the one that enables the screw underneath the trim. Its missing and so when SWMBO fills the door pocket with rubbish and then slams the door (I've tried but I can't stop her) the bottom of the trim flaps, its just annoying, is the little plastic piece that goes in the door to receive the screw available separately as I'm pretty sure that would stop the other fixings disengaging and hence the door panel from coming loose. Geoff

Changed them on both my L494 & L405 as they become brittle and snap quite easily. You are looking for part No.
LR039636 (clip) & LR007312 (screw). Shown as HN1 & HS1 in the parts catalogue, which you can access here: -

Hope this helps!

Broke mine yesterday after investigating a rattle in the door, just went ping when putting the screw back, and still have the rattle, seems to be the lock itself Big Cry info is helpful though will pick a couple up Thumbs Up

Thanks, nipped out and bought a clip (out of stock of screws) got to be the cheapest thing I've ever bought with a LR part no Rolling with laughter . Too warm to fit it though, can it be fitted without removing door trim completely? Geoff

Helped a lot got the captive bit from my local main dealer parts department, they didn't have the screw but I used a self tapper with the same spec.
Thanks Bow down Geoff

Agreed, most annoying. Car manual should have a pullout with pictures, if that doesn’t work…… Soft close should come with an attachment that gives the passenger 240v if they slam the door. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Mine broke again so this was the cheapest I could find, I know I could get it for less from my local JLR dealer but thats a 20 mile round trip and unlike SWMBO I know diesel ain't free.
