Rear seats not cooling

Hey guys any help on this at all? Went out on the car for a drive last week with daughter in the back, i said put the cooled seats on to keep you cool asking with the Aircon. But a few minutes later she said her arse was getting hot. So i checked and she was right. The dial was turned fully on to cold but still coming out hot so turned dial to hot and no change, still blowing out hot. They work fantastic in front seats but not rears. Any idea what it could be?

I've only ever known heated seats in the rear & climate seats in the front...

No definitely climate in the back. They was working perfectly last year as my daughter loves it feeling the coolness on her rear end. It's a Vogue SE, not sure if it was an added option.

I believe it's the same option which includes the rear seat recline (although IIRC microcat includes switch blanks for the cooling / heating dial so maybe somewhere the recline is available without the rest).

Doesnt seem to have been popular (judging from the numbers when I was looking), indicated by a switch unit on the door-card (pic from a random autotrader ad);

I don't have the seat recline option. But i certainly do have the climate rear seats with dials on the centre rear console. It's a 2008 Vogue SE. I can't even take any pics at the moment as I'm dodging fires in France and Spain. I have 2 dials, 1 is for the fan speed and the other is for hot and cold. Now just as I've typed this out, would i be thinking that the dials are actually just for the rear heating and cooling not the seats?

The dials are for the rear climate, if enabled on the climate control module in the front. The push buttons in the centre of the dials are for the rear heated seats.

Not on the rear seats, no. At least none of the vehicles I saw from that period had it. Microcat also doesn't list any part numbers for a door switch pack <10MY

Mines 2010 so I guess the info I squirrel away in the back of my mind is more likely to be 2010 related.

Thinking about it, when I was looking for another L322 I think rear climate seats might have been one of the reasons for leaning towards 2010 vehicles. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Oh gosh I'm such a div. It's just for rear climate not the seats. Could have sworn they was climate seats. Oh well she must have been sitting in the front then when she was using the cool seat function. Sorry guys and thanks for your help, how silly do i look now. Embarassed

Haha, I was just about to suggest a solution would be putting your daughter in the front Smile 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

That's all i need, the missus and daughter fighting over who sits in front on our holidays if this weather continues. Could be worse, driving along the A63 near arcachon near Bordeaux this morning and the motorway was covered in thick smoke from a nearby forest fire that's been raging for the last few days. Had the same in Portugal on Thursday hitting 44c , had to take the long way back into Spain. And we moan when the temp hits 25c Laughing
