It is! That’s a particularly good result, but it achieved 40mpg easily if you didn’t go over 80mph.

Carbon core and other lightweight touches meant it weighed just over 1,800kg, add that to it being fairly aerodynamic (especially when lowered at speed) and barely ticking over at 75-80 on the motorway meant it managed really impressive fuel economy in long journeys. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

It does look dreadful compared to some of the mpg’s posted up, especially Stan’s figures.

Not terrible at all though. Graham

I could easily live with that…. Really not bad at all. I guess if you hammer it, the number falls sharply…?? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I once went through a nerdy phase and used to enter the data from fuel receipts into a spreadsheet when I had my TD6. I never bothered when I had the TDV8.

The low numbers are when towing. Only once did I get over 30 mpg. A bit sad when you consider going fast in the TD6 was never really an option, and even going briskly was a bit painful to the ears. They really made some progress with these cars.

A1GGS,

I done a trip to Scotland a while ago.

I also got these figures which surprised me when looking through the App. I found the quicker I pushed the car it seemed to reach a sweet spot, not that i was concentrating solely on MPG. As others have said on here, all i do is just drive and enjoy.

So just to confirm 5litre S/Charged 575bhp.

This is fairly typical of a regular journey I make. Long sections of M4 and M25 with 50 mph limits, otherwise ‘foot down’.

I can easily live with both of those. And 44 for the diesel is frankly amazing 👍🏻 Graham
