8 months on and I have eventually received the sign that I won back in January. The vendor wrapped it in 4"x2" timbers and tried to send it royal mail who chased him so he went to a courier and was quoted £200 to send it. I had a mate collect it from him and it has been lying at his home for the last 8 months, another mate was visiting him on Saturday and collected it for me, so after 8 months here it is...
