Kph Speedo

2014 4.4 Vogue.

I was under the impression that you could "call-up" the menu, on the steering wheel, to change the speedometer from mph to kph? I have the small digital read-out in kph, but would like the main dial to read KPH also.

Having read the vehicle hand book, it states that the head lamp beam patterns are so designed, so as to not need adjustment to drive on the continent, i.e. RHD to LHD? However, the menu on my vehicle, does not offer this option? What's missing?

Help please. [/b]

Hey El Cid,

I can't coment on your spec I'm afraid but my 16MY does have the settings for both MPH/KPH for the dash and also the ability to select LHD or RHD for the lights - I think its just main beam though as mine has Main Beam Assist Ash

Mine will only change the small digital speed readout to KPH, the numbers around the outside of the dial always stay MPH.

For the lights, my understanding is that the regular beam pattern does not need changing. The only thing is the High Beam Assist needs changing for which side you are driving on.

Mine can swap the main dial as well as the digital readout on a MY16. Must have been an update at some point. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine allows both. Might be a πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ or North American setting. Dan. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

I have a 16 MY too, and can get both, as above.

I’m not sure if applicable , but at one point , the lamps needed a physical switch pushing. Could be found by each headlight..

My car in 2007 was left and right
The next was 2012 was push , and it sprang back , so you had no idea if it was for the U.K. or the eu Rolling with laughter
2016 was electronic & on the dash menu. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
