Replacing seats - rear entertainment

Currently a purely hypothetical question, but…

My car doesn’t have rear entertainment.

But… if I replaced the front seats with ones that have the screens, is it easy to get them to work, or are they redundant?

Just curious… no plans to do it (yet). Tym

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

It needs a lot of cabling, and the head unit modified/upgraded.... but ask yourself... who would use it? everyone uses a phone, or iPad for entertainment these days. far more versatile, and needs only a charging cable from cigar socket! you can buy iPad mount brackets, to go on the headrest rods, of your existing seats. and they clip/unclip for security when locked.

Also, I don't think you'd really want to. The headrests are super hard! I've got RSE and there's absolutely no padding in the headrests whatsoever and they don't tilt forward either.

Have been on the lookout for some winged ones from an L405 but they seem to be mega money (£750 each or more). 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
