Bank 2 Sensor 1 exhaust temperature sensor

Hi guys, could anyone tell me the location of the bank 2 sensor 1 exhaust temperature sensor? I've pulled the live date up on my icarsoft and this sensor is staying at 100 degrees so i think this is causing my restricted performance problems. Thanks.

Careful, Bank2 Sensor 1 very rarely reads above 100c.
Sorry I can’t remember why, but it doesn’t.

I think it's on the 2nd stage turbo exhaust so won't show anything over 100 unless it's in use. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Pretty sure bank 2 is offside (secondary turbo is nearside) and sensor 1 suggests to me this is the first exhaust gas temperature sensor in the series, which would either be the one on the offside manifold or the one known to be problematic down the side of the EGR.

Screenshots of both below highlighted:

However:

The fault basically means on a cold start, the PCM isn't detecting warm enough exhaust temperatures. It could mean a fault with the EGR, it could be incorrect air/fuel mixture (see below) or it could be a dud sensor.

Are you sure it is a sensor at fault? Have you followed all the normal steps regarding exhaust gas problems for the 4.4 TDV8 first? I.e. inspecting all donut hoses for leaks, checking the seal on the throttle body coupling, cleaning up the MAP sensor, top charge hoses etc etc? If you have then, I would look at the exhaust gas temperature sensors. If you haven't then, this is where I'd start and only once all of those are ruled out would I look at the exhaust gas sensors. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Thanks for the reply I've ordered all new seals and some 70mm pipe to replace the 4 intake pipes. Hopefully this will sort the issue.

It's worth trying the cheap/free stuff first before the labour intensive and more expensive stuff and all that is good preventative maintenance also! 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
