Bluetooth hardware update - is it worth it?

I have a L322 08MY with the Nokia Bluetooth module, which generally works fine - it tends to connect/disconnect/connect in the first few minutes of unlocking the vehicle which is more of an irritation than a problem, the functionality works OK, no random drops and the phonebook is usable. My phone is a Oneplus 5, de-Googled with an AOSP OS.
I know the Iphone users can benefit from changing to the later Bluetooth module - what are the benefits to Android users?
Thanks.

The same benefit as for Apple users. It's just a Bluetooth unit so, at the end of the day, it's providing call functionality. There's no additional functionality for iPhone users as the tech is pretty defunct anyway.

The unit out of the 2010 Discovery 4 / RRS / L322 is considerably more stable and easy to retrofit to the 2006-2010 when the Nokia units begin to play up or fail.

The Nokia unit had failed in my 2006. Swapped it for the unit from a 2010 Discovery and all was well - never had any issues with Bluetooth dropping out randomly. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
