Rusted panoramic roof drains

Hi & help .... not necessarily in that order...

Have had serious water ingress inside the car it would appear from the dreaded rusty drain tubes attaching the drain tubes to the pan roof assembly .... its quite common on the interweb but I'm looking for real world experience of this issue and did JLR hold their hands up to the obvious design fault .... this is an ATB 2013 120k new price ....

Opinion/ thoughts to restore my sanity would be welcome
