Having been to a lot of smaller places in Greece, my tip is - When dining out in the evening at a taverna, look for the one which is full of locals not tourists, you will get the best food and invariably the best service.

Dont expect drivers to follow any rules, it's a bit like Jazz music where all of the partici[ants are playing their own tune solo. Every man/woman/child for themselves.

Thanks Merchy, that’s the way we’ve travelled forever! Barbados, we ate in the small fishing villages, sat at long trestle tables next to the fishermen… Was the best! 👍 |
