Driving today with adaptive cruise control set at 50mph. Working fine. All of a sudden, alarm, red triangle appears, then off, so quick hardly hot time to read it. It said something about the cruise control. Possibly going under sign gantry. Any thoughts please. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

I have had that when someone (a farmer) put up a temporary red triangle with mud on the road, triangles on both sides of the road (country lane).

Another time when passing a slip road again with temporary warning triangle. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Just for interest, I found it on utube.
Apparently when the forward radar sensor connected to the adaptive control, gets blocked for some reason, it will throw up this red triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle. It says radar sensor blocked. In my case it vanished immediately. So was probably just a blast of water blocked it for a second. Glad I finally found it, I hate FFRR mysteries. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

Had a similar red triangle cruise control warning while using cruise control on the highway when I inadvertently switched gears down with the left palette.
I aknowledged it on the screen (the warning dissapeared) but my cruise control refused to work again for the rest of the drive.
it worked the next day after a night of rest ... another mystery by RR  "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"
