Gravity Performance Aluminium Radiator - P38 Thor

Hi Guys,

Just sharing my experience & asking if anyone else has tried to fit one of these to a Thor engined P38 (2000 MY)?

These are advertised as 'direct replacement for ease of fitment '

Straight out of the box I could see there was trimming to do on the 'ears' that locate the rad in the brackets either side - the stock unit has plastic moulded 'T' shaped fittings whereas the Gravity rad has an oversized welded on block: I didn't see this as a show-stopper so went ahead and cut them to fit.
What I didn't spot as an issue until after I had trimmed these down was that the Thor rad from them has an extended area around the lower coolant hose which prevents the rad from sliding fully home as this hits the front cross member - it's not massively out but the fix would involve cutting a wedge out of the rad and having it re-welded (or you could chop a piece out of the cross member I suppose).
According to Predator4x4 who I bought it from, they sell a lot of these, but I haven't found anyone else complaining about the above: anyone from here have one?
