Three pins have snapped off my parcel shelf and my main dealer has told me there £70 a pin from a part number I found on a certain auction site.

Does anyone have an alternative source for these parts or anyone advise if they could be 3d printed cheaper? Current: 16 my2016 Range Rover l405 4.4 sdv8 Aruba gold & 11 MY2011 RANGE ROVER L322 4.4 TDV8 ZERMATT SILVER

I was in the same situation and also needed three. I searched for 7 months and then some cropped up on ebay for £39.99 a brace so I snapped some up. I did post on ebay spots but I think they've all gone now. Chris

£39.99 for a tiny plastic piece!!! My Fusion 360 skills are not (yet) enough for designing the part for 3D printing, but I will get into it as I have 2 that broke... 3D printing would cost next to nothing if the model was available...

I managed to fix mine by screwing a long and thin screw halfway in the main part, cutting its head and then dremeling a hole in the pin and screwing it in. Added some glue and it seems to hold for some months now.

How did you put the new ones as they are riveted?

My reply seems to have vanished, so here we go again.

Yes they are riveted. I was completely new to rivets so bought a gun for about a fiver, had a play with it and the rivets that came with it, drilled out the old rivets and fitted the new ones. Managed to drill right through the shelf twice but as it's black it doesn't really show after touching up with a black pen. Seems as good as new. Chris

I’ve just sent mine back for some warranty work and I mentioned the parcel shelf to them so hopefully they will repair it.
