I asked my friend Steven Firth (Shedlock2000 on YouTube if you've never seen his stuff, well worth a look).
He's very much in the know and told me this:
"The 20" do fit the L405 (even with the 5.0SC) but the offset is the problem. The L405 runs a Sport offset of +47, while the Defender rims are +41.5. This means they'll sit out by 1/4" and may or may not foul the wing (it's unlikely - I'm running a 1/4"+ offset at the moment because my winter rims are Sport rims).
I would imagine they'd fit without difficulty, but I don't know for sure. There are people running +35 offset, so I imagine you'd be fine. They do fit on an L322 without rubbing though they don't look right." Discovery 4 HSE
