Ok people's, first post on here , need help .l have recently fitted a westfalia removable towbar and dedicated wiring with the led upgrade from pf Jones to my 2019 4.4 AB l405. The lights work OK on daughters horse box , however when I plug my caravan in all was OK when checking the lights after fitting a new plug and wire to my caravan , then next time I hooked up my caravan to go away I noticed no rear lights or side marker lights , indicators and brake lights work . So got to site and checked power at socket on pin 5 and 7 .no power , turned ignition off , when turned back on again I had power to 5/7 pins , so plugged caravan back in and lights came on for a split second and failed checked power on pin 5/7 no power ,turned off ignition and power is restored, it's like it blows then resets itself . Not plugged it back into caravan yet . Have not had tow electrics coded to vehicle as worked OK when first checked and worked OK on horse trailer . Any help / thoughts on this please.

Are the trailer lights LED or incandescent? Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

The caravan lights are incandescent. I fitted the pf Jones upgrade box to future proof it . The horse box rear lights are incandescent with front white led markerlights

Sorry , the pf Jones box is the one that recognises both LED and incandescent lights , I was advised by them that this was the way ro go .
