I've taken a bit of a punt on one of these advertised on eBay as a "hedge" against a possible future L405 acquisition.
Admittedly, I've taken a chance here as the seller indicates compatibility with pretty much every Land Rover model apart from the L405 :

"VPLKV0134 - FRONT AND REAR DASH CAM SYSTEM FOR LAND ROVER DEFENDER 2020, RANGE ROVER EVOQUE 2019 ON AND RANGE ROVER SPORT L461 - GENUINE LAND ROVER"

So my question - Do we know if this might be compatible with the L405 ?

Many thanks for your very prompt response.

Indeed, I had already reviewed the various threads on this topic.
Among these I read Cam-Tech Craig's very positive post from February of last year https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic58685...=vplkv0134 which I considered pretty unequivocal. Indeed his subsequent posts regarding install to his 2013 FF and also to customers cars remained positive.

Reason then for my post was the suffix to the eBay listed part number "DS" (VPLKV0134-DS), which I'd not seen before.
And somewhat vague responses to my enquiries to the seller leading me to seek confirmation of my findings.

I have now further reviewed forum posts related to "VPLKV0134" and picked up on something I'd previously failed to notice.
A post dated June 14th 2021 comments that Robin at Duckworths had advised that compatibility other than for 2020 onwards models was not guaranteed. https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic59782...=vplkv0134

And so it would appear that this might be something of a grey area in some cases.
Subsequent posts relating specifically to this point suggest the possibility of individual vehicle related factors perhaps affecting the outcome of an install.

As I have committed to the purchase, I guess time will tell.
Worst case, it gets punted back onto eBay.
