Hey all,
Looked through some other threads, but couldnt see a a clear answer.

However, just purchased a handful of things from Aliexpress, all working fine except for the Mirror LED modules;

Flashed once, then nothing.

Added one of the original bulbs back in, locked the car twice to "reset", and then this makes the one remaining LED Mirror light work correctly. Swapped the original back to LED again, and then back to just a flash and nothing.

Any idea's? Do they need a resistor adding in? :/

i wired one if the original bulbs in line with the led... this gave it the resistance it needs and they both worked ok... ... - .- -.

As janky as that sounds... I may give that a go.
I dont really fancy having to get a load of resistors ordered and delivered, when i just need one

on the existing 501's you can prise the wire contacts out and solder them to the leds and then tuck the bulb into the mirror housing...... ... - .- -.

Ah i assumed it would have been a case of splicing and soldering the bulb in, similar to the resistor.

Sent a message to the aliexpress seller anyway, as theyre the same ones as used here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T3XH89IrhU&t=523s And they seem to work fine there.

If theyre the same ones as being sold on powerfuluk, they also dont seem to need a resistor either :/

Ahhh, so theyve given up and just giving a refund.

So 2 questions...

- Does anybody have links to mirror LED light units theyve used, without needing a resistor? (or one thats built in etc).
- Or, does anybody know the which resistor value is needed?

Arrived and fitted this morning.
Hurrah, they work

Had low expectations, as id previously ordered the ones recommended from Sam's Motoring, which wernt working.

Only visual difference on the Powerful ones is that the back of the connector looks to be sealed better.

Mystery solved at least!
