Exterior trim question.

Guys

Can any one advise if its simple to remove the front trim as in picture so I can tuck it under the front pillar. It seems to have been removed at some point and not replaced properly Evil or Very Mad I noticed a number of grommits along the plastic trim is it a matter of just removing these so it can be re positioned correctly ? Did'nt want to feck it up hence asking the question.

Really Shocked why would someone need to remove that panel ? I was thinking could the pillar cover be removed instead ..... always looking for easy option.... Whistle Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

to take that trim off you would need to take the wipers of and the wiper bases, these have to be pulled of with a puller as the will be stuck on fast, unless the have been removed recently. there are two drain pipes that fit to the bottom of the trim. the little grommit like plugs are pop in fixings and are very easy to get out...but if they are a little tight and a bit of prying has to be done to remove them then mark the clips and buy new ones and not the trim...it would be easier to remove the A pillar trim ,, check to see if it has been stuck to the windscreen when it was replaced as if not you will get wind noise so you may as well remove it and fit it correctly V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

you may not need it as by the looks of it your winscreen has been replaced so they may come off easier

Right chaps took me all of 1 minute to fix all I had to do is remove the far right hand grommit and that give me enough flex to tuck the protruding edge of the panel back under the A pillar so no need to remove wipers etc. Hope this helps someone .

Cheers
