searched and looked in wiki , no info on swapping the rear diff , looks to me like 18 bolts and pull the half shafts far enough out to clear the cups , any thoughts / experience ?

The WM for the early fatty in the WIKI is in fact just a description and operation manual, if you look at the later WM in the WIKI there is the removal procedure which will be very similar...


I haven't watched it but this might help...



And I take it you are aware the TD6 has a different final drive ratio to the petrol so if you are using second hand make sure it's the right ratio...
