Pulled up to the pump today as only had a 50 mile range, took fuel cap off but then found that I couldn't push the fuel nozzle in to refuel.

Double checked to make sure I was using the correct petrol nozzle, even tried the super unleaded but it just wouldn't push through.

Used my key and could push the flap open, but unable to do this work the nozzle

Locked and unlocked the FF but made no difference!

Had to give up and head home!

Any ideas? Iggy/Ieuan

I heard something about lock if try to fill up wrong fuel. There should be some kind of tool in your car for unlock it. Check user manual, I never need it, but I saw it in my car.
Dont know is this system presist on older petrol FFRR, but just for info, never know.

Just found a video on YouTube an a diesel RR and my flap looks like the same thing has happened.


Not sure I have one of these, also not sure how mine has locked as I've not had any wrong fuel attempts, indeed put a load in yesterday on way back from Scotland with no issues

Long screw driver does the job too if you don’t have the tool, it’s just a push fit into its retainer
