Another day and another noise I haven't noticed. This noise is coming from the battery compartment area.

Initially I thought the fuel burning heater but when turned on by the timer it makes no real sound. Is this normal or do I need a new ECU fan or something?

Welcome ! If you check out the first few pages of this thread you’ll notice that’s there’s an ECU in front of the battery with a fan attached; that may be the culprit. It’s normal for a fan to run in that area and to continue for a while after the engines been switched off but yous does sound noisy. Perhaps something caught in the fan?

Thanks for the response. I have seen the fan but it's not spinning, not sure what conditions it spins under to be sure it's not working. It spins freely and there is no sign of resistance in it so unknown if this is the culprit...
