First and foremost I would buy on condition, second I would rather have a VSE or an AB over a Westminster as the specs are far better 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Hi buddy and thanks for your message. Yes it would appear that I have finally figured that the Westminster is a clever marketing model for the run out final 6 months in 2012. So defo a VSE or AB for me.....just gotta find one !!!!!!

Good point, Steve.

I saw the following in the For Sale section:

“Established" means that you have been registered for at least 1 (one) month AND have made at least 25 posts on the site. To help you establish yourself on the site, consider introducing yourself in the Welcome to fullfatrr.com thread and sharing some information about your vehicle in the My Range Rover forum.”

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for L322 for you. Also, as I found, forum members will ping you if they see something that matches what you are looking for Thumbs Up Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

I didn't really think there was much difference between the Vogue and VSE? Actually, are the cooled seats any less padded than the standard ones? I took a VSE out for a spin last week and thought they felt significantly less padded than I remembered them being, albeit that might be because I was coming from the full spec Individual Merino ones in my F31 which are about the most comfortable I've ever sat in.

From memory the VSE adds adaptive cruise, auto dimming mirrors and the cooled seats and that was about it? Autobiography then added leather headlining and the proper adaptive lights?

For me the auto dimming mirrors would be a fairly big one but equally being higher up you're less likely to get major dazzle anyway, and the adaptive cruise while nice isn't a big thing, and the cooled seats are also a take or leave thing. Is there anything major in there I'm missing and have overlooked?

The VSE seats have nicer leather and is perforated, the stitching / trim is also better and more comfortable etc. There are also quite a few other differences - wheels, cruise, interior sill trim, more wood, auto dipping mirrors etc, the AB then gets more leather and a few other bits and bobs. In reality you need to check each vehicles own spec as many have options ticked many Vogues and VSE have a lot of options ticked. My current VSE has virtually everything apart from the leather roof lining and dash that the AB gets. compare the baseline specs in the brochures, far easier than somebody typing it all out for you Thumbs Up 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Noted. Thanks. I will have to be patient I guess. Bound to be something out there. I may take a trip to the vogue centre. Stay in a nearby B&B so I can take a really good look around....

My favourite option if I can find one....in either AB or VSE spec......

1. Some kind of grey like Stornaway or similar
2. Beige Leather interior
3. Privacy glass from B pillar back
4. Full LRSH
5. Under 70,000 miles

Does such a unicorn exist out there?

Doubt it.......Sad

Have you driven a late L322 yet?

I want for nothing in my Westminster. I know the ‘purpose’ of the model and it’s fine with me.

I particularly appreciate the dual-screen, front double glazing, HD Logic7 sound system and cooled seats. I don’t think I’m slumming it lol 😂 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

I have a late model, low mileage vogue, from the vogue centre as it happens. It’s got everything I need and more - I’m sure cooled seats are lovely but have a look on here, they’re renowned for going wrong as they get older. I’d rather have heated seats and a heated steering wheel and a remote FBH that work when I need them. I also have auto dimming mirrors and many other wonderous gadgets that make me happy every time I drive it.

Seriously, condition, service and maintenance history then mileage are what counts - don’t rule out a good car just because it doesn’t have rear seat entertainment.

Good luck with the search.

Ah yes, Timed Climate and heated steering wheel…bliss at 7:30 am in the middle of winter.

I echo what others have advised - buy on condition.

After 4 years of ownership, if I were to look for a replacement I would buy on condition over spec 100%. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior
