That looks lovely!!

I've had a few I've regretted parting with but I guess the pick of the bunch would have been the '83 911 SC that I sold in 2008.... thought I got a good deal at the time (one of only a few cars I've made money on Laughing) but seeing how much they're going for these days really makes me wish I still had it...

Too many to list, but probably my biggest regret is letting go of this:

One of 100 made, one of only 23 UK RHD. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.
Previous V8s: BMW 645Ci, P38 4.6, P38 4.0, Merc CL500
Previous others: Honda x1, Volvo x7, Rover x6, BMW x6, Ford x1, Mercedes x2, Skoda x3, VW x2, Renault x2, Citroen x1, Mazda x3, Nissan x1, Audi x3, Kia x1, Fiat x4, Subaru x3, Austin x2, Triumph x2, Jeep x2, Hyundai x2, Lexus x1, Mitsubishi x1, Saab x2... and some others I've forgotten!

Ooh, I do love a Skoda vRS....

Bought a Fabia vRS in 2004, then had a first gen Octy vRS then had another Fabia then had a facelift Mk2 Octavia...

The WRC ones are super cool.... Andrew.

SO many I wish I still owned...

Most recent parting I regret was with my much-loved G Wagen.

Probably a little contentious here, sorry, but it was lovely to drive and (also contentious), nobody ever abused me for driving it, let its tyres down or deliberately avoided giving way at junctions!

It wasn't new and perfect, an AMG or suchlike, the roof is wrapped silver as no aircon meant it got very warm inside but it had as much character as any car I've ever owned.

I hope its new owner is getting as much joy-of-ownership as I did Very Happy

Best wishes to all

Me too, my 1985 Carrera 3.2 I sold in 2020. I had it 9 years so I made plenty of money on it but miss it so much. I'm an idiot for selling.

Some of my old company cars from the 90’s would have been good to keep, such as the original Golf 16V GTI, Golf VR6, Corrado G60 but at the time, we just aspired to the next greatest thing since we weren’t paying for them.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

My Fiat Coupe - a cracking car, the body coloured panels across the dash gave a sense of occasion inside and the 20 valve turbo engine was sweet, with huge in gear acceleration for overtaking

Bought it intending to keep it for two years and kept it for 10 - never let me down and only sold it because I had no where to keep it once I got a company car (sold for £1,200 in about 2011 - criminal!)

My wife hugely regrets selling her Z4 coupe - a really fun machine, but not compatible with newborn children Laughing

2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Lotus Elan SE
Traded it in for a brand new Elise in 2002 which we sold at a huge loss after 2 years.
The Elan is still going strong and we have always regretted letting it go.
Admittedly the front pads did fall off one day but other than that it never missed a beat…

My 1971 Hillman Hunter Royal 660 - I bought it new in 1971 and gave it away in 2008. It's still being driven on Historic plates.

Sold my 2008 Saab 9-5 hot aero to buy the fatty overfinch. If I had the room I would have kept it, had it for 9 years and was gutted to sell it. But boy did I have some great fun in that thing over the years, such a sheep in wolves clothing. Used to love the look on boy racers faces when I used to leave them standing at traffic lights, priceless.
