in car video recorder.

i've been thinking about putting an in-car video recorder after reading on the d3 forum of an incident where a van hit and run was captured by one of these recorders ..the recorder they like on the d3 forum is the 'blackvue' but that costs about £150..there are chinese ones which you can have for £27 delivered and seem to do the same thing...anyone actually fitted one of these or do you think its a waste of time..

these also have an a/v out so in theory could be connected up to the rse system if you have one..

I bought two Blackvue (front and back) for £129 each and they are great. Thumbs Up

The advantage is they are quite discrete.
Something like that with a stick on mount will probably get stolen one day...
Well, that'd be my concern anyway.
