Front indicator/side light unit removal

How does this come off? I haven't got a book to show me how to do this, but I want to fit LED bulbs and it looks like there's no access to the rears and the unit has to come out 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Might be worth downloading rave, that will point you in the right direction:

http://www.rangeroverdatabase.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Downloads.html

Alternatively, look down from the top, you will see a grey/white knob that needs to be undone, this then swings out of the way and the lense will come forward.

Beware you need to have the arms of a 6 year old girl to get in there - I keep some in my tool box at all times!

Noddy,
If you mean headlight cluster on a 2006+ MY then:

Open bonnet, grill off (3 torx screws along top) and be careful disengaging lip at base of grill - and slide out temp sensor to place whole grille carefully to one side.
Each lamp unit is three screws and needs care as you slide out not to scratch bumper (cling film)
Large plug at back - and you can take it off and rest on a towel/clean cloth/rear tailgate to get into the fitting.
Each cap has a specific orientation and accesses different lamps.
The Owner's manual has pictures and instructions.

Replacing is a reversal of above - put temp sensor back, and importantly ensure base of grille lip is properly engaged in slot.

Thanks for the reply, but it's the side light cluster I need to get off, so I can change the side light bulbs to LED's. Doesn't appear to be accessible from the rear. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

as dan stated, open bonnet and look down to where the lights are and you should see a white,or yellowy white turn screw,it has 3 side bits on to get your hands to grip it,turn this anticlockwise and the plastic bit will eventually come of,make sure to keep a good hold of it though as you dont want it to dissapear down the bottom of the car, then slide out the indicator/sidelight piece forwards from the car, unplug light holders from back if need be,then replace bulb.
if you are fitting led 501 type bulbs into the sidelights like i did on mine, you will need resistor kits to fool the obc into thinking the bulbs are fine, otherwise it will throw a blown bulb error to you on obd...
the resistor fits to +/- wires of sidelights, they scotch lock onto the wires, make sure you remove a little of the plastic wire cover where your resistors will be fitted , as the wires from them are thick, and the wire loom wires of the lights are a lot thinner,i did this on mine and wondered why they didnt come on ,which is when i realised tey didnt cut through the wire to make the connection...

hope this helps...
peace out Jon..

Right- just fitted one of them to see what it looked like. Didn't put an error code on the OBC, but they were very dim. Not impressed but for £2 off eBay, no great loss 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Ah, fairysnuff.

In which case, for the sake of a quid, can I suggest This

But for now, hopefully that extract from the manual will point u in the right direction.... Mine is seized on, so when I get check side light message i have to get out and give it a thump and it goes away for a few days!
