The good and the ugly......

My First post and my first FFRR L405 VSE, and I’m absolutely loving it. 6 weeks into ownership and some feedback on recent experiences with Indy, MD and KwikFit

Big shout out to Wantage 4x4 where I had booked a gearbox megaflush / filter and diff oil changed. Being safe and Preventative measure at 75k miles. Great guys who know their stuff and full of great advice, hints, tips and feedback for a new ffrr owner. Will definitely return.

Also a big shout out to Marshall’s Cheltenham who sorted my sticking throttle body and a dpf issue under MD warranty. No quibbles, great communication and fixed quickly and on time. Will also definitely return

However, Poor KwikFit cirencester.......I needed a 4 wheel alignment as I clipped at pothole on our lovely cotswold lanes with slight veering off to the left as a result. Booked online and chose these because of the hunter alignment system, they’re local and they were able to do it quickly. FFRR up on the ramp....”yes, sir your alignment is out slightly - £90” I say “Ok, go do it!” Job was done. Given print out with alignment all green, but set for a Range Rover sport! “Wrong car” I say.......” no, sir, SE stands for Sport something”. A heated 10minute discussion on the model differences results in the whole thing being done again with the system set for L405 alignment. Thankfully the car now runs sweet and true, but never again!

Glad you love the RR & are having good service experience except for a certain fast-fit outfit.

I would never, ever take any vehicle of mine to any fast-fit type of outfit. My past experiences of them are poor & currently (& unfortunately) my wife's mobility car has to go to Kwik Fit - I'm banned from the two nearest centres - wonder why...
