P460e?

Just noticed on the configurator that the P440e is now a P460e, I guess for 2024 models. They have removed Portofino Blue and replaced with Varinese Blue, put back the 3D Surround on the HSE (with Signature Meridian an option again) and the option for a space saving spare. The snazzy digital lights are now a £1k option on the HSE too

The P510e is now P550e and only available in ATB and above

I suppose they have just tweaked the inline 6 a bit to give it more puff and differentiate the two powertrains more.

Looks like they've got a P615 in the SV now as well.

Actually they did a press release and it's the power on the electric motor that's increased. It's also more efficient so the range has gone up by 5 miles on a full charge apparently.

Thanks Fastlane, the link is here for the details

I'd say its a great move to up the power and efficiency of the electric motor on the hybrids, it is a little wheezy in full EV mode.

Wonder if these are the electric motors they'll use on the fully EV model. They could avoid having lots of current hardware in the drivetrain if they go with a quad motor setup. No differentials required. Rivian have a quad motor setup in their vehicles for instance.

Also very fast of course.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't heard anything about this, although my dealer did mention '24 model year when I last chased him about my car.

For those of us who ordered cars a while ago, at what point will our order change to the new model year cars? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I’ve just emailed my dealer here in Scotland.

They have little info but one option may be a requirement to re-order and Lord knows if that means starting again. My order went in in January ‘22.

Ludicrous.

That seems highly unlikely that you'd have to reorder. They might require you to adjust your options if something is no longer available but otherwise should be good. I've ordered cars in the past that have then moved to a model year and had no issues.

Often you find out you get something new that older models didn't have so a nice surprise. In this case you are going to find no physical climate control / off-road buttons in the front. That might be a bonus or negative depending on your point of view. It looks very minimalistic but also at a cost of ease of use while driving.

Played about with the configurator for a replacement HSE in 18 months time. Looks like the power tailgate is a chargeable option instead of standard.

Also the 22" wheels in the accessories are clearly priced incorrectly at £16k for a set of four Rolling with laughter

To be fair that includes tyres and fitting. Oh and a charge for disposing of the originals. letters not necessarily in the right order

My dealer finally contacted me to say that my car will now be a 2024 model. I need to sign a new order form apparently, although still zero indication on when I will get my car.

Can't believe I ordered this car getting on for 2 years ago now. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
