All black 2011 L322

Does anyone have photos of their black on black 10-12 L322? I've bought a set of 20 inch L405 alloys and debating whether to get them powder coated or not. Thanks.[/list]

Nice way to ruin the look of an L322. There are always a few in the classifieds with this appearance.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Sumatra Black

My previous car to my L322 was a metallic space grey sports convertible, and I had the 19" alloys powder coated. Looked awesome IMHO.

I have a Sumatra Black L322 with shadow chrome alloys. I would NEVER get them powder coated. Black FFRR with black powder coated wheels look dreadful, again just imho.

I wouldn't advise it. But it's your car buddy!!

Not a fan of black wheels, for one, any kerbing damage stands out a mile. Much prefer a shadow chrome or silver. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

There are a lot of people who don’t like the Black on Black look. I get it; it’s not for everyone. However, surely the only thing that matters is what the owner thinks as it’s their car.

I’ve seen quite a few BoB L322s and, in my personal opinion, some are done much better than others. For example, the picture below is from a US owner who’s gone in a certain direction and I really like it. Maybe others do too.

Whilst the 285/55/20 tyres on this vehicle are probably at the very high end of what might fit, many owners have gone down the 275/55/20 route without major issue. The main thing is getting different offset wheels, such as the L405 variants. If you want to keep the original L322 wheels and go with much bigger tyres then wheels spacers are almost certainly required.

Anyway, I hope many anti-BoB peeps might be swayed by the style above. It will never be a style for everyone, but if you want to overland your truck as many more of us are, then this style looks pretty cool to me! 👍 Andy
